The La Jolla Ballroom is 6,864 square feet and seats 420 for a banquet or 700 for a reception. The Grande Room is 2,680 square feet and pairs with Olive Lawn for 130. Olive Lawn is 1,664 square feet and seats 130 for a ceremony. Hacienda Lawn holds 80 seated, and Hidden Feather seats 30 by a fireplace.

The Garden Courtyard is the signature backdrop, planted with more than 100 types of botanicals and framed by Spanish-style architecture and two sweeping staircases. Olive Lawn brings swaying olive trees and bright blossoms. The wider grounds run to 10 acres with more than 600 trees, 75 plant species, terra cotta brick, adobe fireplaces, winding pathways and fountains. There is no beach on property: Estancia sits inland on the Torrey Pines mesa and the coast is a short drive.
